NBMU Community Interest

Our Children, Youth, and Young Adults

The NBMU is passionate about embracing and connecting with our children, youth, and young adults, providing them with love, education, exposure, and empowerment, and equipping them with the skills and knowledge they need to fulfill their potential in Christ and positively impact the world.

Justice and Equality

The NBMU is dedicated to pursuing justice and equality for mistreated individuals and standing up against injustice and oppression wherever we encounter it. We believe that all people are created in the image of God and deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. In everything we do, we seek to embody the values of love, mercy, and justice that Jesus taught us.

Biblical Foundations

Our teachings and principles are rooted in prayer, the infallibility and supremacy of all scripture. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19; John 10:30). We uphold the values of leadership, stewardship, and unwavering faith.

Pastors and Ministers

We believe in natural-born male and female ministers who have publically confessed their call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and have demonstrated evidence of the call to preach through verifiable ministry works (Gen.1:27; Jer.1:5; Acts 9:15; 16:10; 2 Cor.5:18).

Unity in Christ

We believe in the Holy Spirit and celebrate the diversity of ministry gifts and roles while nurturing a sense of unity among our members (Jn. 14; Acts 1:8; 2; 1 Cor. 12; Eph. 4).

Support & Growth

We provide all members practical resources, spiritual and professional development, and emotional and financial support, based upon the Great Commission of Jesus Christ to make disciples (Matt. 28:18-20)

Governance

As a basis of governance in the NBMU, we believe the Church of Jesus Christ, which consists of pastors, deacons, and Christians, is governed following the New Testament Church established in the Book Acts 2 verses 38-42, along with the entire New Testament. We also abide by the laws of California that govern religious 501c3 organizations.
